True Neapolitan pizza has a distinct flavor, with simple but flavorful ingredients, baked in a wood-fired oven. 1889 makes pizza the authentic way; we use wood-fired ovens, San Marzano tomatoes in the sauce, and Caputo “00” flour for the dough. Once your pizza is made, it goes into our copper-clad oven and bakes at a temperature in excess of 1,000 degrees.
